The Colt Government is a full-size 1911-pattern pistol chambered in 45 ACP, designed for duty, range, and home defense use. Features a steel frame with a black IonBond finish for enhanced corrosion and wear resistance. The steel slide is finished to match, providing a sleek, uniform appearance. The 5" barrel delivers excellent sight radius and optimal muzzle velocity for the 45 ACP cartridge. Capacity is 8+1 rounds with a standard single-stack magazine. This Optics Ready (OR) model features a slide cut for direct optic mounting. The 1911-platform utilizes a single action only (SAO) trigger. Shooter's Models are 100% new in box but may carry a minor cosmetic finish imperfection not covered under Colt's standard one-year warranty.
