The Colt Government OR is a full-size 1911-style pistol chambered in 9mm, designed for competition, duty, and range use. Features a steel frame with a matte black IonBond DLC finish for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The steel slide is finished to match with an IonBond coating. The 5" National Match barrel delivers excellent accuracy and velocity, providing a long sight radius ideal for precision shooting. Capacity is 9+1 rounds with a standard single-stack magazine. The pistol is optics-ready (OR), allowing direct mounting of a miniature red dot sight. The trigger is single action only (SAO), consistent with the classic 1911 platform.
