The Midwest Industries MI URG is a complete AR-15 upper receiver group chambered in .223 Wylde, built around a 10.5" Criterion CORE chrome-lined phosphate 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium barrel. The barrel features a 1:8 twist rate and M4 feed ramps, running on a carbine-length direct impingement gas system. The forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver is hard coat anodized with T-markings. A 9.25" MI Combat Rail HD Series free-float M-LOK handguard provides a slim, versatile mounting platform. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 for standard 5.56/.223 muzzle device compatibility.
