The Harrington & Richardson Retro 723 is an AR-15 chambered in 5.56 NATO designed for clone builds and retro/historical recreation with old-school cool aesthetics. Features a forged M16A1 upper receiver without feed ramps paired with an H&R-marked M16A2 lower receiver, both finished in anodized black — faithful to the late-1980s transitional carbine period. The 14.7" barrel is permanently pinned and welded to achieve a legal 16" overall barrel length, running a carbine-length gas system with a rifle-height front sight base gas block doubling as the FSB. Equipped with a fixed carry handle and A2-style iron sights. Furniture includes a CAR-style collapsible stock on a 6-position carbine-length buffer tube and an A2-style pistol grip. Trigger is mil-spec. Ships with one 30-round magazine.
