In rifles this 100 grain #1560 Spitzer Boat Tail bullet with a heavy double-tapered jacket ensures adequate penetration with reliable expansion on medium game. It is the boat tail counterpart to the flatbase #1540 Pro-Hunter bullet but when ranges exceed 300 yards the #1560 bullet is the choice for best downrange performance.
