The Mossberg 92514 kit converts a 500, 590 or 590A1 shotgun to a 14 in short-barrel configuration. It is a 12 gauge, 3 in chamber kit with a heavy-wall barrel and bead sight, a new magazine tube and spring retainer, and a forearm assembled on the action slide.
NFA notice: Mossberg's instructions state that a smooth-bore barrel under 18 in makes the shotgun an NFA item. Mossberg's manual states that registration and the Form 1 tax are required before a non-licensee acquires the parts to assemble one. The manual also notes that the magazine tube is Loctite-bonded into the receiver.
