The Magnum Research Desert Eagle is a gas-operated, rotating bolt semi-automatic pistol chambered in 44 Magnum, designed for hunting, handgun silhouette competition, and range use. Features a steel frame with a Brushed Chrome finish. The steel slide is finished in matching Brushed Chrome. The 6" barrel provides an extended sight radius and maximizes velocity for the potent 44 Magnum cartridge. Capacity is 8+1 rounds via a detachable single-stack magazine. Fixed iron sights are mounted front and rear. The Desert Eagle operates via a unique gas-operated rotating bolt action, similar in principle to a rifle mechanism.
