The L.E. Wilson Decapping Base allows reloaders to punch out primers in a separate operation before sizing. The base provides a stable platform while the punch de-caps the primer cleanly from the case. Case-hardened for wear resistance and durability. Compatible with .475-diameter case heads — to find the correct size, simply measure your case head diameter. Works particularly well with military crimped primers and is favored by precision shooters who prefer to decap before sizing.
