The Franklin Armory OPS-16 in 5.56 NATO is designed for tactical shooting and home defense applications where rapid, controlled fire is essential. Features a semi-automatic AR-15 platform action with a salt bath nitride-treated bolt carrier group and FAI lower receiver with Picatinny rail for optics mounting. The 16" LTW contour threaded barrel with a 1:7 RH twist rate delivers excellent accuracy and stability across a wide range of projectile weights, while the Osprey Piston System provides cleaner, more reliable cycling over a standard DI setup. Equipped with a B5 SOPMOD black polymer stock and B5 P-Type 23 grip for a solid, ergonomic cheekweld. The BFSIII AR-Essential binary firing trigger offers single and binary fire modes.
