The Brownells MK18 Block II Tribute is a complete AR-15 upper receiver assembly chambered in 5.56 NATO, built around a 10.3" Government-profile barrel with a 1:7 twist rate — ideal for stabilizing heavier projectiles. The short barrel pairs with a carbine-length gas system running direct impingement operation. The assembly replicates the classic USSOCOM MK18 Block II configuration and features an anodized black finish. A Daniel Defense-style RIS II quad-rail handguard provides full Picatinny accessory attachment on all four sides. The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 and fitted with an A2-pattern flash hider consistent with the Block II tribute specification.
