The Pure Precision SKLTN rifle actions complement and improve upon the original Summit action, delivering greater accuracy, consistency and durability than ever before. Meeting the high demands of long-range hunters and shooters, we kept the base features of the Summit action and expanded on some key features to make the SKLTN model very light and feature-rich. To decrease weight, there are lightening cuts in the body, recoil lug and a trimmed bolt shroud. A new spiral fluting pattern in the bolt also helps to decrease weight. The Pure Precision SKLTN action utilizes the Remington 700 footprint, 75-degree bolt throw, two locking lugs, spiral flutes and M16-style extractor. The Pure Precision SKLTN stainless steel actions also utilize a firing pin assembly that is field strippable without the use of tools; you can clean out debris, ice or a punctured primer piece with ease.
