Designed to accommodate pistols and full size handguns, these safes offer keypad entry and meet TSA requirements for handgun safety in checked luggage. They exceed ASTM International safety standards for child and pry resistance, and are approved by the California Department of Justice as an authorized firearm safety device. Access to the RAPid Safe is activated by RFID watchband tag, key fob or decal that instantly opens the spring-assist lid. Up to five RFID tags can be programmed. It is also accessible by conventional key lock. Rugged exterior housing is made of thick 14 gauge steel with two internal hardened locking lugs.
