The Heizer Defense pocket family pistols are compact, double action pistols, multi-caliber, with interchangeable barrels. The Heizer Defense pistols incorporate an ambidextrous barrel latch design and feature a streamlined stainless steel barrel and stainless steel frame. The Heizer Defense pistol utilizes a tilting barrel design in which the barrel and frame must be locked together at the moment of firing. After firing, the barrel may be tipped up for re-loading. This also allows the pistol to be kept in the open position so that the firing pin will not strike the cartridge.
