The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 is an AR-15 platform rifle chambered in .223 Wylde designed for precision shooting and versatility. Features a forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receiver with Cerakote Battleworn Copper finish. The 16" heavy barrel profile is constructed from either 416R stainless steel or 4150 Chrome Moly with nitride coating, featuring a 1:8 twist rate and carbine length gas system with M4 feed ramps. Equipped with a 15.25" aluminum full Picatinny rail handguard for maximum accessory mounting options. Includes mil-spec polymer pistol grip, standard mil-spec trigger group, and muzzle brake with 1/2x28 threads. The .223 Wylde chamber safely shoots both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition. Ships with one 30-round magazine.
