This barrel from CMMG is just what you need to build a dedicated 22 LR upper receiver for your AR-15. By duplicating the M4 profile you can train with rimfire ammo while handling a gun that feels just like its centerfire counterpart. This barrel includes the stainless steel collar necessary to build a dedicated 22 LR upper assembly, using a 22 LR BCG. Notes: Barrel may seem slightly shorter than 16.1”, but overall length from the rear of the chamber to the barrel crown measures 16.1”.
