A second generation carbon fiber stock takes center stage. The one piece design is strong, light, and filled with foam for noise dampening. It's also very rigid to resist flex when taking offhand shots. Even the precision bedding block is make from compressed carbon fiber that adds stability. Two-tone gray graphics are added to break up the outline and help hide you from your quarry. At the butt end you'll find our proven Inflex recoil pad. The use of carbon fiber isn't limited to the stock. This rifle sports a wrapped carbon fiber barrel from Preferred Barrels. Extensive research and testing of Preferred Barrels products has ensured their quality levels and accuracy. Each barrel begins as a blank that is precision bored and button rifled before being stress relieved. The barrels use a stronger, stiffer carbon fiber wrapping process rather than simple carbon fiber sleeve or tube construction like less expensive designs that offer the carbon fiber look without the functional benefits of the wrapping process. Barrels come in standard lengths that vary by caliber. The muzzle is threaded 5/8"-24 and is ready for use with an optional suppressor. A Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and thread protector cap are included. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.
