Backed by a long history of working with German firearm manufacturer Heckler & Koch (HK), B&T's MK23 SOCOM suppressor is the OEM suppressor for HK and is supplied by HK with its Mark 23 handguns, when a suppressor is called for. B&T engineered this model-specific suppressor to support the Mark 23 pistol's ability to meet and exceed USSOCOM longevity, reliability and accuracy requirements of holding a two-inch group at 25 meters (27 yards), which it accomplishes as a stand-alone firearm, as well as with B&T's suppressor affixed. The design also allows for hand-tuning the pistol/suppressor combination for point of impact shift across a wide range of ammunition. The MK23 SOCOM suppressor is both lightweight at 12.6 ounces and compact in length at 8.78 inches. With a short thread pattern mated to the MK23's M16X1RH thread pitch, this suppressor requires just three 360-degree turns for complete seating or removal, making it very fast to attach or remove, while maintaining the positive attributes of a direct thread interface.
